Two Spanish Morions Or Cabassets
North Italian, Late 16th Century

Each of dulled grey iron and made in one piece, almond-shaped skulls each with short flattened stalk at the top, the base of each skull encircled by holes for lining rivets, one retaining twelve rivets each with brass washer embossed as a floret, the downturned brims with turned edge (2)
21.5 cm. and 20 cm. high
