A German Musketeer's Powder-Flask
Late 16th/Early 17th Century
Late 16th/Early 17th Century
With triangular wooden body covered in black velvet (some wear and old damage), russet iron mounts, the front with pierced line engraved trefoil-shaped terminals and central rosette with circular piercings all retained by screws, tapering tubular nozzle with spring tap, scrolled cut-off lever, slender tapering belt hook, and two rings for suspension (the other two missing)
