Each formed from a section of polished cowhorn, some mounted with nozzles for powder and shot, one incised 'Ann Firth Cartaxo Portugal', crowned banners above and dated '1827' below (nozzle damaged); another incised with royal arms, a coat-of-arms, a large bird, foliage and inscribed 'J. SMITH GRS. 96. REG. T 1842' within a heart (minor damage, base-plug replaced); and another with silver nozzle formed as a monster-head and with spring tap en suite, basal mount chased with a trophy of arms, and silver suspension chain; together with an archer's horn with white-metal mounts (basal mount missing) including an applied heart-shaped panel engraved 'E. SAVAGE 1853', and a white-metal mounted drinking horn (26)
