Two Indian Tulwars, And A Moroccan Nimcha
18th/19th Century

The first curved with watered blade double-edge towards the point, the forte incised with serrated bladesmith's mark on one side, characteristic steel hilt with knuckle-guard and decorated overall with silver-damascened flowering foliage; the second of similar form, the plain hilt without knuckle-guard (areas of old pitting), in modern velvet-covered wooden scabbard; the last with curved blade fullered along the back on each side and stamped 'LONDON' beneath three crowns on one side, characteristic silver-damascened steel hilt with pointed quillon-block, downcurved quillons and knuckle-guard all with plummet-shaped terminals, and bovine horn grip with chased brass collar (3)
