Provenance
Acquired directly from the Abuja Pottery Training Centre;
A private collection.

Stamped 'LT' at the base of each work in this collection, each plate possesses an identical zoomorphic design, beautifully executed by female potter Lami Toto. It is this zoomorphic concept and execution that is a central theme to the potters works and can be seen in on other works from the artist's oeuvre. Incised and glazed, this is a highly decorative collection of plates which possess a high level of attention to a visually intriguing aesthetic.
