A BRONZE RITUAL TRIPOD 'DING' FOOD VESSEL
China, Qing dynasty, decorated with three archaistic bands in relief, the central frieze decorated with a taotie design above a band of lappets, three of which extend to the feet, the domed wood cover topped with a carved jade finial, possibly Ming dynasty, in the shape of a shishi, seated on its hindlegs on a rockwork with two playful cubs,
