A Yoruba bowl
Abeokuta region in Southwest Nigeria, bowl-holding female figure kneeling, and carrying a child on the back, used to hold the sixteen sacred palm nuts ikin Ifa that are used in the Ifa divination, once had a lid, with black, encrusted patina, (age crack to bowl).
