Classical Carved and Mahogany Veneer Sideboard,
Emmons and Archbald, Boston, Massachusetts, c. 1812-1825.
The shaped back with a scrolled beaded edge ending in volutes, on a top with a concave central section above three drawers and two recessed hinged doors centering two additional concave hinged doors, flanked by engaged columns continuing to carved acanthus paw feet, stenciled "Emmons and Archbald / no. 39 Orange Street / Boston / Cabinet, Chair, & Upholstery / Manufactory" inside top drawer, 187cm wide, 60cm deep, 127cm high (74in wide, 24 1/2in deep, 50in high).
