Providence, Rhode Island, early 19th century.
Constructed of hand planed pine boards with iron reinforced corners and handles on the ends, the top secured with long iron strap hinges and inscribed "H.G. Russell / Providence, RI", 71cm wide, 50cm deep, 50cm high (28 1/4in wide, 20 3/4in deep, 20 1/2in high).
