Hanging Cabinet with World War II Relief Panel,
United States, c. 1950.
Mahogany and maple-veneer hanging wall cabinet with central hinged door featuring a carved relief depicting a World War Two battle below frieze inscribed "FHS," opening onto two sliding glass panels, possibly for displaying medals, over a single drawer with carved armorial motif on front, and carved pendant base, closed, 27cm wide, 15cm deep, 60cm high (11 1/2in wide, 6in deep, 24in high).
