The Quadrupeds of North America, 3 vols., 8vo, full dark-red morocco with gilt fillet and floral designs, title, author, and dates gilt to spines, marbled endpapers, all edges gilt, 150 hand-colored lithographic plates after illustrations by John James Audubon and John Woodhouse Audubon (water damage, covers bowed, text blocks wavy, staining to pages and covers [covers of Vol. III not stained], plates less stained than text pages, with images generally not affected, tissue guards not present, front hinge of Vol. I loose with cover partially separated), 10 x 7 in., New York: V.G. Audubon, 1849, 1851, 1854.
