Footnotes

Provenance:
The Clash was the vendor's favourite band at the time and he met them on a number of occasions, including the Glasgow Apollo concert with Richard Hell and The Voidoids on 25th October 1977. The vendor was backstage and talked to Paul Simonon for a while. Paul took the vendor's address and this led to him sending the promo single offered here. Earlier in the day the vendor had met The Voidoids' road manager and helped him obtain some drumskins from a local music shop; this resulted in the vendor being given a pass. The vendor's Dole Card was also signed this day.
