3 volumes. 8vo (203 x 115 mm). Index in volume 3. Contemporary calf, upper covers stamped "Town of Newburyport." Some wear to spine ends, joints started on volumes 1 and 3.
Provenance: Town of Newburyport (contemporary inscriptions to endpapers).

FIRST EDITION OF THE FIRST COLLECTED LAWS OF THE UNITED STATES, with an interesting early New England provenance and early relevant marginalia, containing the treaties and acts from the first four Congresses. Evans 32973; Reese Federal Hundred 63.
