12mo (182 x 114 mm). Contemporary marbled boards, rebacked in calf. Occasional foxing, a few stray spots, boards rubbed.
Provenance: "Coug S.S. Library" (penned to front pastedown).

FIRST EDITION of this rare Lahainaluna-printed tract intended for American audiences on the need for evangelical missionary work. Dibble was also a teacher at the Lahainaluna School and was instrumental in introducing Hawaiian history into the curriculum. Forbes 1460.
