Red painted canvas swatch, 8 x 7 mm, laid down to larger printed sheet, fragment of the wing fabric from Earhart's Lockheed Vega 5b in which she became the first woman to fly a non-stop solo flight across the Atlantic Ocean, August 24-25, 1932, 4 holes at corner of printed sheet, otherwise fine.

A selection of the wing fabric from Earhart's plane, currently housed at the National Air and Space Museum in Washington, removed during restoration.
