RARE PIECE OF WHITMANIANA ISSUED AS AN ADVERTISEMENT FOR THAYER AND ELDRIDGE'S 1860 FIRST REGULARLY PUBLISHED EDITION. Edited by Whitman himself, this Imprints collects the early reviews of Leaves of Grass, including three penned by Whitman himself. A very nice copy in the original wrappers. Myerson D4.
