A RARE SIGNED ARCHAISTIC BRONZE TWO-HANDLED VASE-SHAPED INCENSE-STICK HOLDER

18th century, Guiyuan zuo mark
Of elongated bud form with everted rim, cast with a taotie band with a leiwen ground below the neck and divided by large-eyed beast loop handles, mirrored in a single lug handle at the swelling of the vessel below and supported on a tall spreading cylindrical foot with another taotie band with simple flanges and the three-character mark to one side.
