A RELIEF-IMPRESSED GLOBULAR HIGH-FIRED GREY POTTERY JAR

Warring States (475-221 BCE)
With high shoulder, wide globular body and short everted neck, the shoulder and body with fifteen rows of unusual relief-impressed barbed scrolls that cover the majority of the body, stopping below the simply incised short neck and above the plain flat foot.
11in high and 16 1/2in across (28cm high and 42cm across)
