A MULTIPLE EXPOSURE SHOT OF GREG LOUGANIS DIVING.

Color photograph, multi-exposure image of Louganis diving off the 10-meter platform at the Mission Viejo Aquatic Center, 355 x 278 mm (14 x 11 inches), signed "Greg Louganis" at lower right, c.1981.

A perfectly "ripped" dive, caught in seven exposures. "Mission Viejo" is clearly visible on the platform, and Louganis wears the same suit as in lots 5 and 6, although this print does not bear a stamp and date. Though the US did not send a team to the Moscow Olympics in 1980 (in protest over Russia's invasion of Afghanistan), Greg remained focused on his training and competition throughout the long years from 1976 to 1984.
