A PAIR OF GREG LOUGANIS SPEEDO DIVING BRIEFS.

Men's diving brief trunks by Speedo, size 28, in red, white and blue with "USA" stripe pattern, some wear and age as expected. With a signed copy of People magazine (January 27, 2020).

Greg Louganis was a perfect choice as spokesperson for Speedo, the manufacturer of swimwear and sportswear most associated with competitive swimming and diving. In 1988, Louganis famously posed for a promotional poster for Speedo wearing this USA suit as he stood at the edge of a diving board, above the letters "Greg Louganis / 1984 & 1988 Olympic Gold Medalist." The 17 x 32-inch printed poster was often distributed during Greg's personal appearances on behalf of Speedo and became one of the most well-known images of Louganis post-1988 Olympics.

In 2020, People magazine ran a story about Louganis and the present suit, which he discovered in a dresser drawer years after the original photo shoot. On his 60th birthday, he again posed in the USA suit, looking as fit and gorgeous as he had 32 years earlier.
