1. DOUCET, JEROME. Les Choses meurent. Paris: Lucien Guy, 1927. 8vo. Pochoir illustrations by Leon Raffin. Publisher's printed wrappers. Light toning. Presentation copy, with a 4-line inscription by Doucet to Madame Bordoni, dated 12/31/31. One of 450 on Japon blanc, of a total edition of 500.
2. DUPLESSIS-BERTAUX, JEAN. Histoire de l'Enfant Prodigue en douze sujets.... Paris: Didot l'Ainé, 1816. 4to. 12 engraved plates. Publisher's printed pink boards, rebacked with later morocco spine. Foxing to text leaves, Metropolitan Museum of Art stamps on verso of plates, withdrawal markings and bookplate indicating gift of Lincoln Kirstein, 1976.
3. LANGHORNE, JOHN. The Fables of Flora. New York: D. Longworth at the Shakespeare Gallery, 1804. 12mo. Wood engraved illustrations by Alexander Anderson. Contemporary boards, original tissue guards. Spine very worn with attempted repair, some browning from flowers laid in. First edition with the Anderson wood engravings.
4. WILLETTE (ADOLPHE LÉON). Pauvre Pierrot. [Paris: Léon Vanier, 1890.] Small folio. 41 engraved plates. Loose, as issued, in publisher's blue boards with engraved vignette on upper cover, rebacked in matching cloth.
5. NERVAL, GÉRARD DE. Sylvie. Paris: Société Litéraire de France, 1919. 4to. 44 woodcuts in colors by Robert Bonfils. Publisher's decorative wrappers in colors, glassine cover. Number 66 of 285 copies on velin de Rives.
