11 parts in 6 volumes, folio (352 x 250 mm). Titles within woodcut historiated border of medical vignettes depicting Galen and others; woodcut text illustrations of bandaging and orthopedic devices in Septima classis. Modern vellum antique, top edge gilt. Some browning and staining a few marginal tears, part 2 lacking title and first 7 leaves, part 3 lacking qqq7 and qqq8, part 5 without 5A5-8 (4leaves) and 5M4 and 5 (2 leaves) but with 3 unnumbered index leaves at end.
Provenance Early ink notation in black and red in margins or on small slips pasted to margins; Bibliotheca Terzi (shelf label in two volumes).

Mixed Guinta edition of the collected writings of Galen in Latin, originally published in this form by the Giunta press in 1541-42, it includes translations revised by Vesalius of 3 tracts (in the first part) dealing with the nervous system, circulatory system, and anatomical procedures. See Krivatsy 4493.
