4to (245 x 176 mm). Woodcut portrait of the author. Contemporary vellum, yap edges, lacking original ties, modern blue cloth-covered portfolio. Covers soiled and stained, chip to top of spine end, front hinge broken, some ink notations, scattered foxing and browning.
Provenance St. Augustine's College, Canterbury (bookplate on verso of title).
