Folio (372 x 250 mm). Title printed in red and black with engraved vignette, engraved portrait of Pope Clement XI and 47 plates. 18th century half calf, some light staining; plate 19 repaired with trivial loss.
Provenance: most plates with reference letters added in manuscript; Georg Ludwig Hansen M.D. (engraved bookplate).

Later edition. The first publication in 1714 was initiated by Pope Clenes XI. Blake 139; Wellcome II, 536.
