A JEWELED ENAMELLED GOLD AND PLATINUM PRESENTATION CIGARETTE CASE Fabergé, workmaster Henrik Wigstrom, St Petersburg, 1908-1911, with scratched inventory number 25520

Rectangular form, with hinged lid and diamond-set thumb piece, all sides decorated with fine vertical stripes of matte white champleve enamel against gold ground, lid and underside outlined with raised border of rose-cut diamonds encased in circular platinum mounts, four sides mounted with small rosettes in rose-cut diamonds, top of the lid centered with oval gold reserve mounted with diamond monogram 'HIC' within a delicate garland of rose-cut diamonds in platinum mounts, 72 gold standard;
3¾ x 2¼ x 5/8 in.
