Folio. 277 illustrations. Publisher's quarter goatskin and cloth, printed title on upper cover. Rubbed, lower corners bumped, lacking clamshell box, a few fingermarks.

LIMITED EDITION, number 83 of 615. All but 50 of the illustrations were printed from Vesalius's original woodcut blocks. The surviving blocks were subsequently destroyed during the bombing of Munich in World War II. Cushing V110; Cushing Vesalius VI.A.-16; Waller 9907; Heirs of Hippocrates 289.
