1. Histoire abregee des Provinces Unis des Pays Bas. Amsterdam: Jean Malherbe, 1701. Folio (310 x 195 mm). 2 folding engraved maps, 4 folding engraved plates, 37 engravings of medallions in text. Contemporary calf, spine gilt in 7 compartments. Rubbed, chipping to top spine end, losses to front free endpaper, first folding map repaired on verso. Provenance: Alexander Hume-Campbell, 2nd Earl of Marchmont (bookplate). Sabin 32006.
2. LANQUET, THOMAS. An epitome of cronicles. Conteininge the whole discourse of the histories as well of this realme of England as all other coutreis.... London: Thomas Cooper, 1569 (but 1549). 8vo (190 x 150 mm). Contemporary blind-tooled calf, rebacked with original spine laid down. Lacking last 4 leaves, title page laid down, browning. First edition, with incorrect date on title "MDLXIX." STC 15217.
3. COTTON, ROBERT and JOHN HAYWARD. The Histories of the Lives and Raignes of Henry the Third and Henry the Fourth, Kings of England. London: William Sheares, 1642. 8vo (140 x 80 mm). Engraved portrait of Henry III on frontispiece. 18th century calf. Upper cover detached, margins somewhat trimmed, browning.
4 LASSELS, RICHARD. The Voyage of Italy. Paris: Vincent du Moutier, 1670. 8vo (147 x 85 mm). Engraved frontispiece. Rebacked 18th century calf, with portions of original spine laid down. Rubbed, some ink notations, browning. Bookplate of John Wright, Kelvedon Hall.
5. CHARDIN, JOHN. Travels of Sir John Chardin into Persia and the East Indies. London: Moses Pitt, 1686. 4to (315 x 195 mm). Portrait frontispiece, 6 plates (one partial). Rebacked retaining contemporary calf covers. Lacking map and several plates, one plate torn in half and incomplete, upper cover detached, browning and spotting.
