Square 8vo. Illustrated with color plates after Picasso. Publisher's cloth, stamped in red, pictorial dust jacket, card slipcase. Minor wear and soiling, slipcase sunned.

PRESENTATION COPY, SIGNED AND INSCRIBED BY PICASSO WITH A DRAWING OF A DOVE in colored pencil on the front free endpaper. Picasso's signature is in Cyrillic: "Pour Mytnik / Пикассо [Picasso] / Paris 5.3.55," referring to Russian pianist Andrei Mytnik. Mytnik performed in Paris in 1955 along with violinist Leonid Kogan. Picasso is known to have presented a similar copy to Kogan.
