4to (217 x 148 mm). Large woodcut vignette on title, woodcut portrait of Boccaccio on verso of *3, 10 woodcut illustrations in text, woodcut initials, woodcut printer's device on colophon. Rebacked early 19th-century diced calf. Covers rubbed, partially erased gift inscription on flyleaf dated 1819, marginal worming, dampstaining to last few leaves, lacking final blank e4, minor spotting.

Fourth Giolito edition, with essentially the same pagination as the earlier editions of 1546, 1547, and 1548. EDIT16 CNCE 6320.
