MADISON, JAMES. 1751-1836. Printed Check Signed ("James Madison") and accomplished in manuscript, 60 x 160 mm, paid to the order of A. B. in the amount of $9, drawn on the Bank of Columbia, Washington, 1813, cancelation at right affecting the "Ma" of signature, additional perforations at center, reinforced at left and right margins, some toning overall.

Madison signs this personal check during the first year of his second term.
