A 1506 re-issue of Amerbach's folio edition of 1492.

Provenance: Bundesdenkmalamt Wien, ink stamp on lower pastedown. Between 1920-1934 the Federal Monuments Authority of Austria (Bundesdenkmalamt) used this round stamp, with the inscription "Bundesdenkmalamt Wien", on objects for which it had issued an export licence. Bonhams wishes to thank the Austrian Government's Kommission für Provenienzforschung for confirming this.
