A Kashan lustre pottery star tile
Persia, 12th/ 13th Century

in the form of an eight-pointed star, decorated in a brownish gold lustre on a cream ground with an inscription in thuluth script on a ground of vegetal interlace, surrounded by a border of pseudo-inscription
10.9 cm. diam.


Inscriptions: Undeciphered.
