Mamluk, circa 1400

Arabic manuscript on paper, consecutive leaves, 13 lines to the page written in muhaqqaq script in black ink with diacritics and vowel points in black and red, gold florets with blue dots marking verse-endings, inner margins ruled in brown, one sura heading in gold, framed together
each leaf 288 x 215 mm.; frame 460 x 620 mm.
