France, late 19th Century

each of piriform on a short foot, the waisted neck with torus moulding, decorated in blue on a white ground with inscription-filled cartouches interspersed by roundels containing figural scenes and cartouches containing rosettes and foliate vines to the body, the neck with split palmette interlace, later mounted as lamps on Chinese style gilt bronze mounts
each 38.1 cm. high (2)
