Arabic manuscript on paper, 318 leaves, 15 lines to the page written in naskhi script in black ink with diacritics and vowel points in black and red, red dots markings verse-endings, inner margins ruled in red, one illuminated double-page frontispiece in colours and gold, sura headings in naskhi script in red, juz and hizb divisions marked with marginal notes in red, catchwords, contemporary gold-tooled red leather binding with central medallions, with flap with cartouche containing stamped text, Qur'an, sura LVI, al-waqi'ah, verses 79-80
