For a pair of identically modelled figures with near identically painted robes but with a use of different enamels to the dragon bases and other minor highlights, see Cohen & Cohen, Hit & Myth, Antwerp, 2014-B, pp. 60-61, no. 34.
These figures are a rare adaption of the usual three-dimensional standing figures by the flattening of the backs for attachment to the wall. The use of a writhing dragon amidst waves and rockwork that form the bases of these figures is a type rarely seen on 'Export' ceramics and suggests that these may have been for local Chinese consumption.
