  Buyers Premium and Charges

  Like the vast majority of auctioneers Bonhams charge what is known as a Buyer's Premium. Buyer's Premium on all Automobilia lots will adhere to Bonhams group policy:

  Automobilia:
  27.5% up to €25,000 of the hammer price
  26% on €25,001 to €700,000
  20% on €700,001 to €4,000,000
  14.5% on €4,000,000 and above.

  Motorcars:
  15% on the hammer price.

  Some lots may be subject to VAT on the Hammer Price. These lots will be clearly marked with the relevant symbol printed beside the lot number in the catalog.

  	VAT on imported items at the prevailing rate on hammer price and buyer's premium, if the object remains in the EU. TVA sur les objets importés au taux en vigueur prelevable sur le prix d'adjudication ainsi que sur la prime d'achat dans le cas où la voiture reste dans l'Union Européenne.
