A mid to late 18th century ebonised table clock

The inverted bell top case with single handle over circular and shaped glazed side apertures on a moulded base. The arched brass 6.75 inch arched brass dial with strike/silent subsidiary over a Roman and Arabic chapter ring, matted centre and recessed signature plaque, with good blued steel hands. The twin gut (now wire) fusee movement united by five knopped pillars, now with anchor escapement, rack striking on a bell. Ticking, striking, together with a door key. 49cms (19.25ins) high.
