Provenance:
Bodo Bleß (1940-2022) collection, Berlin, acquired from Lemaire in July 1961 (as recorded in Mr Bleß's photo album).

The dorsal pillar with vertical text naming Hekaemsaf, whose tomb is in Saqqara. Within his wood coffin was a net of gold, lapis lazuli and amazonite beads with a beaten gold mask covering the head.
