Rare, Near-colorless Large Euclase

Euclase is a beryllium aluminum hydroxide silicate mineral which crystallizes in slender prismatic crystals. It is related to beryl as it forms in pegmatites. Some collectible Euclase crystals are noted for their blue color, ranging from very pale to dark blue. The mineral may also be colorless, as is the case with this offering. The present near-colorless stone is a large, rare size for the knowledgeable collector. Weighing approximately 15.37 carats and measuring 13.90 x 12.46 x 9.42mm
