Grahame, Kenneth (1859-1932) The Wind in the Willows, Illustrated by Arthur Rackham. 4to, full dark-red morocco pictorial binding signed by Sangorski & Sutcliffe/Zaehnsdorf. Image on front cover, with Rackham's facsimile signature gilt, recessed and framed by gilt ruling, top edge gilt, deckle edges, marbled endpapers, in custom velvet-lined clamshell case with decorative leather-and silver bookmark and silver magnifying glass in fitted wells. 100th edition, originally published 1908. Illustrations by Rackham tipped in, one of 500 copies on handmade paper with deckled edges, of which this is No. 246, introduction by A.A. Milne. 11 ¾ x 9 ½ in., London: Methuen & Co. Ltd., 1951.
