Travels in Palestine, Through the Countries of Bashan and Gilead, East of the River Jordan, Second edition, 2 vols. 8vo, red cloth, rebacked, title and author on paper labels to spine, illustrated with engravings and fold-out maps, frontispiece portrait of the author "in the Costume of Turkish Arabia" (foxing to frontispiece and some maps, previous owner's name ink-stamped to ffep of both vols. and first page of text in vol. II, spines sunned, corners lightly bumped). 9 x 6 in., Longman, Hurst, Rees, Orme, and Brown, 1822.
