Hale, Edward Everett (1822-1909) Collection of Ten Letters and Handbills

The ten autographed letters signed addressed "Dear Dudley" [Dudley R. Child] on stationary from the South Congregational Church, Boston, The Holly Inn, Pinehurst, NC, Lend A Hand Society, and Hale's personal stationary, spanning November 4, 1898 to April 5, 1907 on a variety of subjects including his travels, news from home, children's Easter stories, and church matters, singed variously "Edward E Hale" and "E.A. Hale," and with three "Hale House" handbills signed by Edward E. Hale, Dudley R. Childs, Roger Edmund Tileston, George Wintuthur, and Albert White Vorse, (folds, minor toning).
