Autograph letter signed, Letter to John Chipman Farrar, founder of Farrar, Straus and Giroux publishing house, dated November 5, 1922, from South Shaftsbury, Vt. on a 10 x 7 in. piece of paper folded in half. Frost writes, "Dear Farrar, I'm too late for your Christmas number I suppose....I've had a poem all written for you, if I could only have found time to get satisfied with it....",
