Icones Anatomicae, Large folio, half white pigskin over brown paper-covered boards, title, author and emblem gilt to front cover and spine, number 218 of 615 copies. Printed from original 16th-century woodblocks which were destroyed in World War II, with letterpress transcriptions of Vesalius' notes to the illustrations. Binding by Frieda Thirsch.
