Principia Philosophiae, Fourth edition, 4to, light-brown reversed sheep, rebacked, title and author gilt to black label on spine, vignette on title page, frontispiece portrait of author, extra illustrated allegorical title page, illustrated with numerous engravings. Bound with Dissertatio de Methodo, Dioptrice, Meteora, and Tractatus de Passionibus Animae (corners worn, scuffing to covers, front hinge cracked, previous owners' bookplates). 8 3/4 x 6 3/4 in., Amsterdam, 1664.
