America, 19th century.
Single sheet with folded wire sides and crimped rounded top and bottom edges, soldered sockets include candles, japanned ground with simple floral branch painted in white, red, pink, and green, 5cm wide, 2cm deep, 20cm high (2 1/2in wide, 1 3/4in deep, 8 1/4in high).
