Three Painted Sheet Metal Clock Dials,
England and America, 19th century.
Two sheet iron tall-case clock dials, one with hunting scene painted in tympanum has applied wooden cleats on reverse and impressed in u.l. corner, "J. JUKES / BIRM\M"; the second has floral decoration and reverse is marked "J. Ant. Kreuzer" in red paint, with pencil inscriptions below; third clock face painted on square of non-ferrous sheet metal, (crazing, paint loss), 33cm wide, 2cm deep, 45cm high (13 1/8in wide, 1in deep, 18 5/8in high).
