Painted Tin Lighthouse Coffeepot,
Pennsylvania, 19th century.
Hooked-spout sheet iron coffeepot with domed lid and braced handle, with lapped and soldered seams, rolled edges on handle, painted decoration in yellow, green, and red on black japanned ground, with later brass knob on lid, (dents, paint loss), 22cm wide, 15cm deep, 25cm high (9in wide, 6 1/4in deep, 10 1/2in high).
