Molded Copper and Cast Iron "Lexington" Horse Weathervane,
America, late 19th century.
Standing flattened full-body form with cast iron head, sheet copper ears and corrugated tail, yellow sizing and verdigris surface with traces of gilding, mounted on copper rod with custom iron stand, (rust, minor seam separation, repaired bullet holes), 88cm wide, 7cm deep, 71cm high (35in wide, 3in deep, 28in high).
